As you may know, our congregation is in the lucky position of hosting a ministerial intern this year in the person of Babs Allen.  Babs brings a wealth of talents to her position, and it is our job as a congregation to help her advance her skills and learn about congregational ministry.

Part of that commitment to her is us!  We are the Ministerial Intern Committee, and it is our job to act as Babs's "brain trust".  To quote the UUA's Internship Manual, we serve as a "caring, resourceful liaison with the congregation...and a group to which the intern can turn for information and guidance."  We meet with her regularly to discuss her progress, provide feedback, and answer questions.

To help us be better serve Babs, we would love to hear from you. Do you have ideas about where Babs could be helpful?  Let us know!  Do you have some feedback you would like to give?  You can talk to us about that, too.  Keep in mind, though, that we cannot convey anonymous comments: anything you want to say will have your name firmly attached.  You can also talk to Babs directly; she is very approachable and also very open to constructive feedback.

If you don't know us by sight, you can recognize us on Sundays by our special bright yellow "Ministerial Intern Committee" badges.  You can also email us at mic@uucuc.org.
